I'm planning on riding the track for the first time in October with a good group of people/friends from another forum. Majority are guys of course. My first question...where do you ladies that have gear get them? I've noticed A-Stars has their one and two-piece suits (of course, being who they are, they're quite expensive, but I know it's because they're all about quality), Teknic has a single two-piece suit and I believe one other manufacturer does too, but unfortunately I have forgotten who they are. What are the options for women? I have looked and looked, but don't seem to get too far. :/ Secondly, I have heard some girls will get the track pants and then a riding jacket, but will sew the zipper onto the bottom of the jacket... If I went this route, where could I go to have that done? People on the other forum have told me I can rent a suit at the track, but I doubt they'll have one my size (I'm petite).
Thanks so much in advance! :)

I had my track suit made by Syed as well, but it was very expensive. When I went to the Schwantz school, I bought a Teknic jacket and pants that had a 360 zipper and that worked for them. When I rode at Road Atlanta, I used a Joe Rocket combo. Of all the options, I love my one piece custom made, but after that it would be the Teknic. I am selling my Teknic combo if you are interested in seeing if it works for you. If you need it altered, it would still be cheaper than anything else. Good luck in finding something that fits you, another reason I went with Syed.

The matching jacket is not in stock and Teknic has not posted a date when they will be making that jacket again. (Venom) Just an FYI. At least the pants are all black so I can have a pick at a jacket and it'll still be fine. :)
