Hey ladies! I wanted to share my ride report from my recent trip to the mountains. Extended Use Review of Knox Cross Guard Knee Armor

My review of the Knox Gross Guard Knee Guards after three years with the same pair. They have held up pretty well to the use and abuse I've given them. I have not crash tested them - sorry, I am just not willing to take it that far for a review. ;)
I use this armor primarily when I want to wear jeans while riding. Because they strap directly to your body, they are much better than the armor in mesh and textile pants, so I have also on ocassion removed the armor in my riding pants…

After spending a few years doing track days in off the rack suits, and also experiencing the joy of wearing a custom street jacket, I knew it was time for a custom suit. I wanted something that was street friendly, well made, comfortable, and flattering. That last requirement may not seem like an important feature, but let's face it, if I don't feel good wearing something I am probably not going to get much use out of it.

I got a message a couple of weeks ago asking if I was interested in flying out to California to ride Kawasaki’s new Z1000. Hmmm…. Let me think about that for a minute. I’ve never been to California at all before, let alone ridden there. I always hear how awesome the roads are, but never expected to get to ride any of them since hauling my bike out there doesn’t seem very practical, and riding a sport bike across the country doesn’t seem that appealing either.
