Scorpion EXO-1100 Helmet Review
Reviewed and Written By Reuben with Competition Accessories
The EXO-1100 is Scorpion's newest flagship helmet, and is an upgrade to their ever popular EXO-1000. The new Scorpion EXO-1100 Helmet incorporates a lot of the same features that we knew and loved in the EXO-1000.
An Everclear face shield keeps your vision clear, even in cool or wet weather. This anti-fog system is one of the best in the industry, and the Speedshift shield changing mechanism makes swapping shields a breeze. For on-the-road adjustments, the Speedview internal sun visor is easily deployed with a simple slider switch for changing light conditions.
The EXO-1100 also has Scorpion's much loved AirFit cheekpad inflation system. Air Fit allows the rider to inflate the cheekpads to the perfect comfort level, which also helps to significantly reduce wind noise.
So what's new with the Scorpion EXO-1100? First of all, Scorpion has moved away from the Snell standard and gone with the European ECE 22.05. This has resulted in a substantial weight savings, which is definitely a welcome change since the EXO-1000 was not exactly light. The shell is still a Fiberglass/Kevlar Matrix blend, but has been re-designed for less drag and a quieter ride. Some external vents have been slightly redesigned, but their placement remains more or less the same. Internally, however, there have been some major changes. The EPS liner now has large air channels which direct cool air over your head and help draw warm air out. Scorpion has also upgraded the liner material to their Kwick-Wick II material, a more comfortable moisture wicking fabric. The crown liner and cheekpads are fully removable, and the liner attachment is greatly improved over the previous design. There are several graphics and colors available for the EXO-1100, check them out today!

Comment by Silverzzr Admin Team on October 5, 2011 at 9:36am Joe loves his scorpion EXO-1100. He was recently in a low-speed (less than 30mph) lowside and the helmet held up great.
