Scorpion Nip Tuck Women's Motorcycle Jacket Review
Its really difficult to find a motorcycle jacket that fits properly, and I think that Scorpion is on the right track with their Nip Tuck Jacket. They have included adjustments on the sides to help fit the rider properly. The sizing also seems right on target and the look is feminine without being too girly. The cut of the jacket is longer in the back, so you're not flashing the riders and cars behind you when tuck down on the bike.
When I am seated upright on the bike, the air circulation with the liner removed is fantastic. It enters the mesh panels and is directed around my body and onto my back, which was a nice unexpected feature. Although the jacket has a removable liner, I don't feel like it would be enough in very cold weather, but I was comfortable riding on a chili morning.
I'm actually on my second Scorpion Nip Tuck Jacket, purchased from Competition Accessories. I crashed in my first one, so I can attest to its durability. It really saved my skin.
It is disappointing that it appears as if Scorpion is discontinuing many of the color choices for this jacket. Its down from about six color options to just black, white and gray. The upside is that you can sometimes find the colored jackets with great close-out prices.
Jacket Features/Details:
I would recommend this jacket, I really haven't found anything on it yet that I do not like. As with all your riding gear, try to purchase somewhere you know has a good return policy, because sizing is always tricky.
Gear up and enjoy the ride!

Comment by Amanda (aka Chameleiana) on October 26, 2011 at 8:30pm Agreed - good review Katie! And wouldn't you know it, I was just looking at that jacket online last night as I was looking around at the riding pants.
Darlene - while I was looking around and pants and jackets last night, I saw a cute Joe Rocket Alter Ego 3.0 jacket that actually has the outer layer as the waterproof layer (and is removable) over a mesh jacket that also has a removable fleece vest. That seems a little more handy than having the waterproof liner inside the jacket (especially because the description says the outer shell folds into a self contained pouch - which would be easier to bring along and throw on over the mesh layer).
